Darkbrow History

    She was a beautiful creature, be she woman or tiger, and she was a tiger that day, a white tiger.  Her large white body stretched across the ground, though her fur had lost any and all of its luster, falling out in clumps as she laid sprawled on the ground near the water fall.  Her heart was broken, and being an animal, she had no real comprehension for things such as love, but she knew she hurt.

    Of course she was not the only one with problems, Finnius Darkbrow had just recently lost his wife, not to death or disease, she just up and left him, and their two children, one day, so the large wolf-man was not feeling overly pleased as he moved into the area of the large clearing.

    Its hard to say what, perhaps it was the pain of their broken hearts, but they were drawn together, and it wasn't long before Finnius brought the tiger home.  Her name was Talmaryn.  She's been born a tiger, and lived most of her life as a tiger, but the curse of an old man caused her to undergo a painful transformation once a month, turning her to a human for the length of one day.

    Finn's sons, Galen and Delsus, were both very young when he brought her home.  Delsus was thrilled with his new mother, and Galen couldn't stand her.  When it happened that her humanness and her heat fell in the same time period, Finn was unable to control himself, and they soon had two daughters on the way.

    Galen was of course not very thrilled at the arrival of the two pests born by the woman his father had brought home to replace his mother, at least he wasn't yet. It took a few years, but as Galen grew older he came to love his step mother, and his half sisters, Dove and Tally.  Perhaps too much some would say.

    On the eve of her first heat, Tally stepped out of her room to find her father.  Being a particularly inventive child, she read and drew voraciously, and needed her father's help in translating some particularly hard problems, but ran into Galen just outside her bedroom door.  Feeling suddenly very... attracted to him... they both went into her room, and animal nature took its course.

    After trying to deny their feelings for each other, they finally gave in and embraced it.  Of course they couldn't keep it hidden forever, and now they are looking for a priest to wed them.

   It wasn't long after when another heartbreak took place in the Darkbrow family, and this time it was Dove. After months of seeing a man whom she'd cared for deeply, she discovered he had another, beyond which, it seemed as if her favorite brother, Delsus, hated her as well.  When her brother discovered how she felt, he spent the time to comfort her, and in the course of doing so, they discovered the same feelings their siblings had, but have not yet worked up the bravery to tell their parents.
